Technical Support Engineer

Location: Bydgoszcz


  • Analysis, diagnosis and neutralization of problems in the customer’s messaging systems/platforms
  • Customer ticket resolution (Remote Technical Support) taking into account the individual service level agreements
  • Work on live network, mainly remotely
  • Definition of workarounds
  • Plan and perform testing of new software in lab environment followed by controlled introduction into customer live network
  • Perform Emergency Support covering 24×7 network outage restoration /on calls
  • Maintain interfaces with customer’s technical personnel ensuring smooth information flow about reported problems and their resolution status as well as other activities with customer

Specific additional information:

  • Bachelor’s/Master degree in computer science, engineering or telecommunications
  • At least 2+ years of experience in Technical Support (supporting products running on Unix/Linux server) will be an advantage
  • Unix/Linux knowledge
  • SS7, TCP IP, , VoIP knowledge
  • Solaris OS knowledge
  • Fluent English
